The Fiddler is a game editor for Worms Armageddon, created in 1999 by James Heather (aka Fudge Boy), created because of the lack of options in the game. Eventually, it not only was able to change a whole variety of options, but could even create brand new weapons. WormsMart was started by Allan West (Mr Flump) to host his and James' editors, before Fiddler was developed, and then became the main focus of the site. Fiddler was more successful than anyone could have dreamed about, and a small community rose from the exchange of Fiddler files and new weapons through the site. Though development of the program stopped in April 2000, as James was completing his Ph.D at the time, the site continued to flourish, eventually expanding to new areas such as covering films, games and other media, along with covering new Worms games, such as Worms World Party and Worms Blast. The site became dormant at the end of 2001, as interest in Worms started to fade, and the site eventually disappeared off the web as our host didn't renew its domain name. Though it's taken nearly 5 years for WormsMart to be updated and receive any new content, hopefully this will be the start of something great for Fiddler, Worms Armageddon and Worms in general. I hope you'll be there when it happens. How to use ---------- To start, unzip the fiddles directory to your Fiddler directory, and open the fiddles in Fiddler from the File - Open menu, or double click the file outside of Fiddler. At the time of making this, you need to have a modified version of Fiddler, running Worms Armageddon version 3.0.0.0 and with Silkworm v4.12a. If you don't have these, or are unsure whether you have, don't worry, as there will be instructions on the WormsMart site on how to setup Fiddler in the near future.
